Manav Rachna International University (MRIU), Faridabad, is inviting applications for new BTech programmes, with specialisations such as cloud computing, launched in association with IBM. June 19 is the application deadline for BTech computer science and engineering with specialisations in fields including business analytics and optimisation, IT infrastructure management and telecom informatics. The March 2014 tie-up is expected to span a learning management system, train the teacher programme, student projects, expert lectures, and industry connectivity so that students and faculty can experience the IT environment. Enrolees are promised access to an online platform, a portal created by IBM, for training opportunities, course material, discussion forums, projects, mentorship and news clips.

The eligibility criteria are at least 65% marks (55%marks for the afternoon shift) in the plus-two examination with five subjects including physics, maths and English as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: chemistry, biotechnology, computer science and biology from a recognised board or university.

Admission is tentatively scheduled to start on June 30, depending on the declaration of Board results. For details, visit www.mriu.edu.in, send an email to info@mriu.edu.in or call at 0129-4259000.
