In the Sunday episode of Bigg Boss Season 8, the special guest was evergreen actor Rekha, who visited the team to speak about her upcoming movie Super Nani. The diva, who mostly stays away from TV shows and public appearances made an impactful appearance on the controversial reality show.
Rekha and Salman’s dance on ‘Daagabaaz Re': As the evening progressed, Salman Khan welcomed the ageless beauty Rekha who made a dhamakedaar entry on the show dancing on her hit number ‘Pardesiya’. The duo also shook a leg on Salman Khan’s song ‘Dagabaaz Re’ from the movie Dabangg 2 while presenting it as a romantic medley. Rekha and Salman shared an amazing camaraderie as the diva kept pulling Salman’s leg. Rekha, who turned 60 this year matched steps with Salman Khan with utmost grace. Even host Salman Khan couldn’t resist the charm of the ageless beauty and complimented her saying “Inki beauty toh sabko duty par laga degi.” When asked what Bigg Boss meant to her, Rekha went on to call Salman Khan her Bigg Boss. “Mere Bigg Boss toh aap hi ho!” she said.
Salman Khan had a crush on Rekha: Bollywood heartthrob Salman Khan, who has millions of fans across the globe and girls simply swoon over his good looks had a huge crush on Rekha. Yes, you read it right. The Dabangg Khan was so crazy for the diva as a kid that he had announced that whenever he grows up, he will marry Rekha. The actress revealed how Salman would follow her around on his cycle, while Rekha would go out for walks on the Bandstand promenade. This revelation by Rekha left Salman blushing.
Salman had offered Rekha the mother’s role in Dabangg: While Salman was completely blown away by Rekha’s beauty and grace, the veteran actress didn’t miss a chance to tease Salman. The actor kept praising Rekha’s beauty throughout the show and told her that she looks a 18-year-old and kept asking her as to why would she play roles of the mother or grandmother. Rekha’s answer left Salman speechless for few seconds. She said if she was as young as that, then why had he offered her the mother’s role in Dabangg.
When Rekha requested Salman to get married: In fact, Rekha took this fun flirtatiousness one step further when the cameras switched off for a little while. Seeing Salman sweating in the October heat, the actor commented,”Aapko dekh kar toh mere bhi paseene chhoot rahe hain!” However, as the evening was wrapping up, Rekha walked up to Salman with one sincere request that has even been on the entire country’s mind. She whispered in his ears, “Maine aaj tak aap se kuch nahi manga…Aaj mangti hoon. Meri ek baat maanenge? The twisted task: Bigg Boss announced a fun filled task for the housemates where all the members of the house were asked to mimic each other as instructed by Bigg Boss. Pritam was seen playing Diandra, Minisha portrayed Karishma, Punit fashioned Sushant, Karishma was seen acting as Punit, Praneet was seen mimicking Gautam, Sonali portrayed Natasha, Gautam played Sonali, and Upen was asked to enact Soni. Aarya portrayed Minisha whereas Diandra was seen as Aarya. Soni on the other hand donned Praneet’s persona. Deepshikha acted as Pritam, Natasha played Upen and Sushant was seen as Deepshikha.
Sushant wins ‘Main Bhi Rekha’ contest: The yesteryear superstar, who is leaving no stone unturned in promoting her film Super Nani was seen having a blast on the show. Together with Salman, Rekha brought the Bigg Boss house down and everyone was mesmerised by her beauty and grace. The actress, who also went inside the Bigg Boss 8 house, met everyone warmly. In fact, the contestants were so attracted by her beauty that many of them went speechless. To make the moment even more interesting, a task ‘Main Bhi Rekha’ was introduced on the show and the winner was to be awarded a Kanjeevaram saree by Rekha herself. No Prizes for guessing that it was Sushant, who performed on ‘Salam-e-ishq meri jaan,’ won Rekha’s heart and the task.
