The man who is turning out to be the nemesis of upcoming Bollywood films in Pakistan, Mubashir Lucman, claims his petition, that led to a local court ruling that no Indian film can be censored or released in the country, was not an anti-India stance. He had raised his voice against tax evasion prevalent in the industry.

While talking to Mirror, the talk show host said: “I am not against any Indian film, or for that matter, any film from any other country.” He went on to explain his decision to file the petition saying, “My only grouse is that most films that are imported to Pakistan dodge the taxes. Why should this happen? Why can’t the film business be done legally?”

Lucman stressed that he is in no mood to give up the fight: “I shall continue the campaign until it reaches its legal and logical conclusion.”

The next hearing is on Monday. “It is doubtful whether the court will resolve the matter soon. And this makes the future of all upcoming Indian releases uncertain in Pakistan,” said a source.

The next casualty, after Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Saif Ali Khan-Sonakshi Sinha starrer Bullett Raja, might just be the Prabhu Dheva film starring Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi, R…Rajkumar, which is scheduled to be released this Friday.
