A tasty deep fried snack made from ripe bananas, served hot garnished with coconut

| Ghee or butter |

| Coconut, scraped +2 tablespoons |

| Method |

| 1. Peel and mash bananas. Boil one cup of water in a pan along with salt and butter. When it starts to boil vigorously add kootoo ka atta and stir well. 2. Add sugar and two cups of scraped coconut and mix well. Add mashed bananas and mix to make a smooth dough. 3. Make twelve to fourteen even sized balls of the dough. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and deep fry for five to six minutes or till golden brown. 4. Drain onto an absorbent paper and serve hot garnished with the remaining coconut |
