London – Israel’s envoy to the United Kingdom has warned of formation of its new alliances with a number of predominantly Sunni countries, including the Gulf states and Saudi Arabia, in opposition to Tehran-sponsored Shia alliances.

Daniel Taub reasserted the thought that the Geneva peace accord will not be able to slow Iran’s progress towards acquiring a nuclear weapon, the Independent reports.

Taub said that Israel will be forged to enter into new alliances with long-standing antagonists in a bid to counter the perceived threat posed by Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

Israel has repeatedly said that the deal reached between Iran and the world powers is inappropriate as it lacks lot of strict measures that should have been taken to prevent Tehran from developing a nuclear bomb.

Israel also claims that none of centrifuges have been dismantled, the Arak plutonium heavy water reactor functioning remains intact, and none of the military aspect of the programme has been touched by the deal.
