People in the Tunisian resort town of Sousse have held a march through the town expressing sympathy with the relatives of the victims who were killed in Friday’s deadly terror attack.

According to the BBC, those killed in the attack were mostly tourists.

The crowds gathered late on Saturday at a hotel were also targeted by the attacker on Friday.

In wake of the terror attack, Tunisia had announced its decision to shut down at least 80 mosques accused of inciting violence.

Prime Minister Habib Essid remarked that the mosques, which operated outside state control, were spreading ‘venom’ and will be shut down within a week.

This was the second major terror attack on tourists in Tunisia since March, when militants killed 22 people at a museum in the capital city of Tunis.
