However, to avoid such a situation, follow some simple tips to protect the hair from dryness.

The best and the simplest thing to do is to wrap up the hair and not leave them open too often.

Leading hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani said that a scarf could also be used to cover the hair, as it will allow a little air circulation within the areas surrounding the scalp.

According to Rod Anker, from Monsoon Salon, it may be tempting to indulge in a hot shower, but extreme temperature is a big hazard to the hair.

He also advised regular moisturizing to keep hair healthy.

He added that the protein in our hair needs to be replenished after the cold weather dries it out. Hair spas are, therefore, a must.
