New Delhi – In an exclusive interview to Times Now, Arvind Kejriwal laid bare his point of view regarding his political agenda, divisions with the AAP on the issue of government formation in Delhi, his relationship with Anna Hazare and finally the Delhi deadlock which is baffling all.

Speaking about the possibility of forming a coalition government, Kejriwal said that the letter sent to Congress highlighting the eighteen points, which will form the foundation of the government, was actually an effort from his side to arrive at political consensus. He also mentioned that on a personal level, he remains uncomfortable at the idea of forming a coalition government. He went on to admit that there are divisions within the party when it comes to government formation with come supporters wary of an alliance between AAP and Congress.

On the recent issue of feuding between the Anna Hazare camp and AAP, Kejriwal maintained that, “Anna is my guru.” “There are very big political and vested interests in the country”, which believe that the coming together of Anna Hazarae and Arvind Kejriwal will equal the power of an “atom bomb”, said the firebrand AAP leader. Without taking names, he said that all those who are honest are scared and intimidated by this equation.

He also announced that the fight for the Jan Lokpal Bill will continue and also that he hopes to take the issue directly to the people. The Lokpal and Lokayukta Bill, 2013, however, was passed by voice vote in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday amid din created by members from Seemandhra region who were protesting against the division of Andhra Pradesh to create Telangana state.

The bill was already passed by the Lok Sabha in December 2011 but it came to the house again as it underwent amendments before being approved by the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday.

When quizzed about what the future holds for the Anna-Arvind equation, he said that, “I would like to work with Anna.” He also said that there are no hard feelings from his side and also that he wants Anna to guide him. Kejriwal went on to laud the social activist’s efforts.
