New Delhi: After stirring up the hornet’s nest by his blog against the sacking of AAP’s two senior leaders from the PAC, the party’s Maharashtra face, Mayank Gandhi wrote another blog stating his fellow partymen have begun taking aggressive steps against him.Gandhi, in his new blog which he shared on Saturday, said that the party is too precious to abandon.

In the blog, he has written that attacks have begun against him from Ashish Khetan and other members of AAP, and some dissatisfied members are giving interviews against him.

“A price may have to be paid. A small group of party decision makers in Delhi have already removed me from the informal BBM group. Members are going against me. More will come and I will be so humiliated that I will be made to quit. The same was planned for Yadav and Prashant. But they overturned that plan by staying inside the party. Let me see if I can withstand the muck that will be thrown,” Gandhi wrote in the blog.

Defending the stand he took in his previous blog, Gandhi said, “My blogs are not against any individual nor a challenge to the leadership. This is not how I function. After the March 4 meet, it was my conscious decision to write blogs to uphold higher principles of transparency.”

He further went on to say, “This is not a rebellion, neither against our leadership, nor to seek personal attention. I truly believe that AK (Arvind Kejriwal) is the hope for the country and I have learnt almost everything from him.”

Describing himself as a disciplined soldier of the party in his aggressive blog, Mayank Gandhi had said that the removal of both Yadav and Bhushan from the PAC went against the volunteer spirit of the AAP, and was downright dishonest in both thinking as well as in action.

“My presence in the National Executive is only as a representative of the volunteers. And I would be dishonest to accept the gag order. The volunteers cannot be removed from the equation; they are the source of the party. Rather than get information from selective leaks and stray statements, I have decided to give some factual details of the meeting in the public domain,” Gandhi said in his blog.
