CBI arrests 3 people in corporate espionage case for leaking sensitive documents from various ministries
New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation on Thursday night arrested three people in the corporate espionage case. The trio were detained in the case for leaking sensitive documents from various ministries.
On Thursday, the investigation agency searched various ministries and the offices of private firms including DLF, HDFC and Induslnd bank.
Cases have been registered against corporate executives and government employees.The CBI has recovered Rs 60 lakh in its raids at six locations in the national capital. Three places in Mumbai were also raided.
Sources said the documents were allegedly sold to a Mumbai based Chartered Accountant who in turn passed them to various corporate houses.
