Mayawati rules out alliance with any party ahead of 2014 general elections
Lucknow – Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Saturday ruled out going into alliance with any political party ahead of the 2014 general elections.
“BSP will go it alone,” Mayawati told media here.
Mayawati further said both the BJP and Congress have lost the confidence of people.
“Today both Congress and BJP have disappointed the people. People do not prefer either of these two parties,” she added.
The former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister further criticised the ruling Samajwadi Party claiming there has been a rise in crime and corruption during the Akhilesh Yadav rule.
“The state is going backwards,” she said.
