New Delhi - Baba Ramdev's Patanjali Ayurved will now be selling its ayurvedic products in the open market, the yoga guru said Thursday.
The firm has so far been selling its entire range of 800 products through its exclusive outlets.
"Patanjali's products will be cheaper by 30 percent as compared to the ones being sold by MNCs like P&G and Hindustan Lever," said Ramdev.
"Our products are cheaper because we source the products directly from farmers. Also our overhead costs are low," he said, adding that Patanjali had already appointed over 600 distributors at district level.
The products are currently made available in Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and Chandigarh and by March 10, would be available in Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, West Bengal, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Gujarat.
