Infosys projects 21 percent revenue growth

Bangalore -  India's IT giant Infosys Ltd Friday projected 21 percent year-on-year (YoY) consolidated revenue growth in first quarter (April-June) of new fiscal (2012-13) to Rs.9,056 crore (Rs.90.56 billion) in rupee terms.

In a regulatory filing Friday, the IT bellwether said its consolidated revenue for the entire fiscal (FY 2013) would be Rs.38,784 crore (Rs.387.84 billion), an increase of 15 percent YoY in rupee  terms.

Under the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), revenue for first quarter (Q1) is expected to be $1.8 billion, an increase of 6.6 percent YoY.

Similarly, revenue for the entire fiscal (FY 2013) would be $7.6 billion, an increase of nine percent YoY under IFRS.
