â€˜Black Eyed Peasâ€™ star Will.I.Am escapes hotel fire

Washington - Pop group â€˜Black Eyed Peasâ€™ member Will.i.am was among the 1,500 guests who were evacuated from the Park Lane hotel in London after a fire broke out.

As firefighters tried to douse the blaze that started in the kitchen, the â€˜I Gotta Feelingâ€™ hit maker left the hotel with a green bandana covering his mouth and nose.

Will.i.am was in London to perform at the Wireless Festival in the nearby Hyde Park, reports Contactmusic.

He greeted a fan outside the hotel wearing a Lego hat similar to one that the Black Eyed Peas frontman once sported.
