New York - Mary Tyler Moore may have won the Lifetime Achievement award at the Screen Actors Guild but what she really wanted to do was to “seek out” the man who had once said ‘I love you’ to her - George Clooney.
The 75-year-old described her first meeting with ‘The Descendents’ actor two years ago, in an elevator.
“I met George Clooney in a very small elevator. He came over and he put his arms around me,” the New York Post quoted her as telling People magazine.
“I think he said something like, ‘I love you.’ It was maybe two years ago,” she said.
She said that she was looking forward to seeing Clooney again at the awards night.
