Washington -  Bethenny Frankel has chosen Mila Kunis for the film adaptation of her first novel, Skinnydipping, which will hit the stores on May 1.

The former Real Housewife believes that her debut fictional book could become a movie and insisted that `Forgetting Sarah Marshall` actress would be a perfect choice to take on the role of  the lead character.

“I've been approached for the book to be a film and a television series,” Us magazine quoted Frankel as saying.

“My gut says it really is a film; maybe later it could be a TV series. It has the arc, the story, the characters to be a film.”

“When I thought about the lead character, I thought about people like Mila Kunis. Expect the unexpected. I think that Mila Kunis would be perfect,” she added.

Though Frankel has written books before, Skinnydipping is her first venture into fiction-writing.

“It was a great experience,” the 41-year-old said.

“I really liked fiction,” she added.
