Petra Nemcova calls off engagement to Jamie Belman

London -  Petra Nemcova has called off her engagement to Jamie Belman, just two months ahead of their wedding.

The 32-year-old supermodel and the actor plans to tie the knot after a whirlwind eight-month romance in January 2011, and their ceremony had been planned for June this year.

“Petra Nemcova and Jamie Belman confirm their separation,” the Daily Mail quoted a statement for Nemcova’s agency, Next Models as saying.

“They remain close friends and thank their families for their continued support during this time. There will be no further comment on the matter,” the statement read.

Former ‘Dancing With The Stars’ contestant Nemcova had been due to wear a Marchesa wedding dress, which she had picked out in summer last year, at the ceremony.
