New Delhi - If it's the time for short films-making-it-big, then director Rajan Khosa's film "Gattu" is making the most out of it. After travelling to various parts in the world, the film has now been invited to the ninth edition of Indian Filmfestival Stuttgart, Germany.

The film will not just be screened at the festival but also be competing in three different categories - German Star of the year, Audience award and Directors' vision awards.

The festival will take place in Stuttgart between July 18 and July 22.

"Gattu" is the story of a young boy who wants to win over a mysterious kite in the sky and leaves no stone unturned to achieve his dream.

After being premiered at the Children's Film Festival in Hydearabad, it went to 62nd Berlin Film Festival, where it was given special mention. Then it travelled to various film festivals in New York, Toronto, Los Angeles, Beijing, Cannes and is currently in Edinburgh for the film festival.

The film is slated to release in India July 20.
