London - Arnold Schwarzenegger has revealed that a sequel of ‘Twins’ is in the pipeline, 24 years after the first movie was released.
In ‘Triplets’ the 64-year-old actor and Danny DeVito will be reprising their roles as a lovable odd couple, the Daily Mail reported.
Schwarzenegger confirmed the happy news when he spoke at Comic-Con in San Diego.
He said that he will be teaming up with the original director Ivan Reitman, and that they were currently looking for a writer for the project.
According to rumours surfaced earlier this year, Schwarzenegger and DeVito had been set to star in a sequel to the comedy.
However, it has been claimed that the duo could find another unlikely brother in the movie in the form of actor Eddie Murphy.
The ‘Terminator’ star played Julius Benedict in the first movie outing, who was conceived by test tube and went on a search for his long lost brother.
And 67-year-old DeVito took on the role of his brother Vincent, who turned out to be much shorter and a crook after failing to get any of the good genes.
