Washington - Christina Anguilera took to Twitter to announce the name of her much anticipated new album, as well as a release date.
The ‘Stronger’ singer has revealed that the new album will be entitled, Lotus and will be hitting stores in November, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Explaining the title choice the ‘Stronger’ singer tweeted, “Representing an unbreakable flower that survives under the hardest conditions and still thrives,†Contactmusic reported.
Anguilera also gave details of her new single ‘Your Body’, which will be out on September 14th and has promised a small video teaser during episode of The Voice, on Monday.
The music video was shot in August and is directed by Melina Matsoukas, who directed Rihanna’s (award winning) “We Found Love†video.
“There are some beautiful personal ballads on this album. I wouldn't do a record without them,†Anguilera tweeted.
