New York - Actress Jennifer Aniston says she was most surprised when her beau Justin Theroux popped the question with an engagement ring.
"I was impressed," Aniston said of Theroux's final choice of the ring, reports people.com.
"I had no idea, and I had no idea what I wanted. He just knows what I like," she added.
Her ring is an eight carat emerald-cut diamond sparkler. She says he worked hard on getting the right thing.
Theroux "worked with the girls that I have worked with for years and years and years, so he kind of was picking the specialists' brains," shared Aniston.
"He kept it within a very small circle of people. It was one of the sneakiest jobs I've ever seen, actually," she added.
That surely left the actress doubly impressed.
"It's hard to pull one over on me where I'm not like, 'Hmm, you're acting really strange.' It was a very covert operation," she said.
The couple has been dating since 2011, and got engaged in August.
