London (IANS) - The "Mummy" star Brendan Fraser is set to make his Broadway debut with a new play based on Norwegian writer Ingvar Ambjornsen's novel.
Fraser will share the stage with Denis O'Hare and actress Jennifer Coolidge in the quirky comedy about two odd recluses who share a state-funded flat together, reports contactmusic.com.
In 2001, Ambjornsen's Norwegian novels were adapted into a film of the same name directed by Peter Naess. Naess also adapted the story for the stage in Scandinavia.
"Elling" also won critical acclaims in London when it hit the West End in 2007.
