Dismayed that family members are spread out over the house, each with a separate PC or tablet? Lenovo has something it believes will get them back together — a PC the size of a coffee table that works like a gigantic tablet and lets four people use it at once.Lenovo Group Ltd., one of the world’s largest PC makers, is calling the IdeaCentre Horizon Table PC the first “interpersonal computer” as opposed to a “personal computer.”

Blue Star launches the innovative Multi-Inverter Split AirconditionerIndiaVision Exclusive - Airconditioning and commercial refrigeration major, Blue Star Limited, has launched a new break-through product called the Multi-Inverter Split Airconditioner for consumers who want to aircondition their entire house and at the same time would like to dramatically save on power bills. This innovative product incorporates an inverter-technology based outdoor unit which can be coupled to three indoor units to aircondition up to three rooms simultaneously.

Thus, it enables individual customised cooling in each of the rooms with a single outdoor unit and is the most energy-efficient technology available to home consumers today.

Inverter-technology based compressors can change their frequency, accounting consistently for the ambient temperature as well as the number of people in the room, to maintain user comfort. Since there is no regular cut-in and cut-off as in regular compressors, the Multi-Inverter Split Airconditioner can aid up to 30%-40% power savings over non-inverter split ACs. Moreover, if all three ACs are not run simultaneously, the power savings for the units that are switched on, further increases. This futuristic range helps in reducing the number of outdoor units from
three to just one unit, thereby maintaining the look of the façade of the building. The striking features of Multi-Inverter Split AC are i-feel for comfort where one sits, eight filters for ultra- pure air inclusive of Vitamin C, active carbon, anti-bacterial, dust filter and others, electronic
expansion valve in the outdoor unit, hydrophilic blue fin evaporator, anti-corrosive blue fin copper condenser, self diagnostic system with a comprehensive trouble-shooting code, acoustic insulation on compressor and R410A eco-friendly refrigerant, amongst others. The indoor units
also have a state-of-the art sleek design with a diamond sparkle to appeal to interior designers and architects.

The Multi-Inverter Split Airconditioner re-emphasizes Blue Star's commitment to offer high- technology products to residential customers, so that they can experience office-like cooling at home. The product, for three 1.5 TR indoor units and one outdoor unit is priced at Rs. 1.99 lakhs.
