London - There is speculation linking Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho with a managerial job at his former club Chelsea.
A top source close to Mourinho has revealed that the Portuguese who bagged six trophies in just three years at Stamford Bridge, is keen on resuming his old job at Chelsea.
"Jose would go back to Chelsea," The Sun quoted a source, as saying.
The only obstacle, which lies, is that Mourinho will insist Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich gives him full control of the club without any meddling in the team affairs.
"He knows things are a mess there right now. He also knows it would be difficult to go back and make the same impact as before," the source added.
"Winning the Premier League title back to back in his first two years at a club that had not been champions for 50 years was incredible. That's why he's still loved by the fans and why he still loves the club.
They were special days."
"But before agreeing, he would want things very clear between him and Roman Abramovich. He would say 'Roman, you are the owner and I am the boss here. Let's work together and the power is in our hands," the source further added.
Abramovich might be tempted to bring back Mourinho at Stamford Bridge since most of his successors have failed to take the club to the heights that he had achieved.
