London - Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has denied that he is cracking up in his title battle with Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
During last month City faced exits from both domestic cups while they lead the Premier League only on goal difference after letting their three-point lead over United slip after their defeat to Everton at the Goodison Park.
Mancini pointed out towards his experience as the manager of Inter Milan and believes he has learnt handling pressure from his tenure at the San Siro.
"There isn't anywhere else like Inter Milan where you can be really under pressure. After managing Inter, you can manage any team because Inter have a big history like Manchester United," The Sun quoted Mancini, as saying.
He also said once you manage a top club like Inter Milan then you would never face any kind of pressure while managing some other club.
"And when you are a manager there you have pressure every day, every minute. After Inter, you can't have pressure. It was really important experience for me because Inter is a top team and you need to do everything well every day, every game," he added.
Mancini also defended his team after facing a tough January period and said he is happy with his team's current position.
"It's not easy to stay on top for five months and until now we have scored 60 goals. We also have the best defence in the Premier League.
"We have done very well. I think for us it is important that we think about ourselves and not think about other teams. This championship depends only on us and not other teams," he added.
