UAE, France hold joint military exercise

Abu Dhabi - The UAE and France have launched a joint military exercise "Gulf 2012", it was announced Sunday.

The joint exercises were launched in 1996 and are conducted once every four years.

The exercise aims to improve the combat efficiency of the forces.
