Islamabad - A tribal leader and his son-in-law were killed and at least eight others were injured when a teenaged suicide bomber blew himself up outside the leader's house in Pakistan's Peshawar city, media reports said.
The blast took place around 4.30 p.m. in Pakha Ghulam area in the outskirts of Peshawar, Xinhua reported citing Urdu TV channel Dunya.
Witnesses said tribal leader Haji Akhonzada and his son-in-law were sitting outside their house when the blast took place.
Two children were among the injured.
Geo News said the explosion took place at an under-construction house belonging to the leader of banned organisation Ansar-ul-Islam.
Another local media report said he was the head of banned outfit Tanzeem-ul-Islam, and that the attack might be the result of some conflict with other organisations.
The age of the suicide bomber was put at between 16 and 18.
