Islamabad - At least 15 people died in northern Pakistan Monday night when their bus fell into a ravine.

The accident took place in Haripur, a mountainous area some 40 km from Islamabad, Xinhua quoted Urdu channel Geo TV as saying.

Twenty-five people, including women and children, were aboard the vehicle when it plunged into a 60-feet-deep ravine.

Hospital officials said some of the injured were in critical condition.
