Britain's 'rogue' swan to be relocated

Saturday - Mar 03, 2012, 05:27pm (GMT+5.5)
[+] Text [-]

London -  A swan that has become notorious for brutal attacks on tourists on the Cam river in Cambridge will be relocated along with its female mate.

The bird dubbed "Mr Asbo" will be moved 80 km from his usual area to stop him from terrorising rowers, The Sun reported.

Conservationists want to move the bird and its mate before the spring nesting season for the safety of river users.

They also fear the two birds are at risk of an attack by local people fed up with its attacks.
