Second temblor rocks Indonesia

Hong Kong -  A second temblor, this one measuring 8.2 on the Richter scale, struck off the west coast of northern Sumatra Wednesday, hours after a more intense earthquake shook the  area.

The epicenter of the second quake, with a depth of 16.40 km, was initially determined to be 615 km southwest of Banda Aceh in northernmost Sumatra, Xinhua reported citing the US  Geological Survey.

The temblor followed an earthquake measuring 8.6 on the Richter scale that rocked Indonesia.
