In a huge sigh of relief for Indian boxer Vijender Singh, National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) announced on Tuesday that the boxer has tested negative in the drug test.
Moscow - A court martial in Russia's Leningrad region convicted a unit commander for shooting dead six army guard dogs while he was drunk.
According to the Russian Prosecutor General's office, the court found that Major Evgeny Mityashin took a hunting rifle and shot the six guard dogs dead in their pens and injured one when he was drunk on the night of Aug 27, 2011.
He was found guilty of cruelty to animals, dismissed as commander of his military unit and fined 30,000 rubles (around $970).
