Suicide bomber targets NATO convoy in E. Afghanistan, 4 killed

Kabul - At least four French soldiers with the NATO-led coalition were killed and six others injured Saturday when a suicide bomber targeted a NATO convoy in eastern Afghan province of Kapisa.

"Four International Security Assistance Force service members died following an insurgent attack in eastern Afghanistan today," the NATO-led ISAF said in a statement.

However, local private TV channel Tolo News reported, citing a police spokesman in eastern Afghanistan, reported that "Six French soldiers with the NATO-led ISAF were killed and six others including three civilians injured in a suicide bombing in Nijrab district of Kapisa province this morning."
