Ex-US VP Cheney's daughter disagrees with him on Palin

Washington - Liz Cheney, the daughter of former United States Vice President Dick Cheney, who, in an interview had called the selection of Sarah Palin in 2008 "a mistake"- has disagreed with her father's assessment of Palin on Twitter.

"Rarely do I disagree with best VP ever, but @SarahPalinUSA more qualified than Obama and Biden combined. Huge respect 4 all she's done 4 GOP," Politico quoted Liz Cheney, as saying on the micro-blogging site.

Liz Cheney has emerged as a player in conservative national security circles, and is also rumored to be considering a political run of her own in the future.
