Six killed in Nepal road accident

Kathmandu -  At least six people have been killed and 42 others injured in a truck-bus collision on the East-West Highway in Nawalparasi in western Nepal late Sunday.

According to website myrepublica.com, the bus, en-route to Mahendranagar from the capital Kathmandu, collided with a truck with Indian registration plate coming from the opposite direction, Xinhua reported.

The injured are undergoing treatment. However, the deceased have not been identified yet, police said.
