Woman survives four days in freezer

London -  A 59-year-old American woman managed to survive after spending at least four days in a large freezer.

Theresa Christian from Tulsa, Oklahoma, was reported missing by her relatives last week, and was finally found by her son Tuesday after he gained access to her apartment and heard

moaning coming from the freezer, the Daily Mail reported.

There was no sign of foul play. Her neighbours said perhaps she got into the freezer fearing that a tornado may hit her house.

The report said it was strange that the woman was unable to get herself out, since there were no locks or latches on the exterior of the freezer.
