Washington - Dinesh D'Souza, the Indian-American evangelical scholar behind a high-grossing film that condemns US President Barack Obama, has said that his future is up in the air after he resigned as head of a New York Christian college following allegations of marital infidelity.
"I don't have any plans," D'Souza, 51, said, a day after he resigned as president from The King's College in Manhattan, The New York Daily News reports.
D'Souza's resignation came two days after the Christian magazine 'World' reported that the married professor was seen sharing a hotel room and introducing another woman as his fiancee at a recent conference in South Carolina.
D'Souza, a rising star in conservative Christian circles, directed the documentary '2016: Obama's America,' an anti-Obama film that centers on the president's childhood and Kenyan father.
The film, which earned over 30 million, dollars was based on D'Souza's book "The Root's of Obama's Rage."
