UK strip club axed for keeping schoolgirl, 14, as lap dancer

London, Mar 20 (ANI): A strip club in Britain has been stripped off its licence after it was revealed that it had a 14-year-old schoolgirl performing lap dances.

After it emerged that the Shadow Lounge in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset allowed the girl to put on shows for leering men and strip for private dances, councillors decided to shut it down until further investigations.

The girl is back at school and said the incident has "ruined her life" after receiving a barrage of abuse.

"I was told I could pick my own song to dance to and that I should chat to some of the men," the Sun quoted the girl as saying.

"I was so drunk that I didn't know what I was doing. I have had 151 text messages from people saying they are going to attack me and most of my friends have turned their back on me.

"We shouldn't have been let in. I do regret it," she stated.

The club's Spanish-born owner Jesus Rodriguez-Casas claims he was duped into letting the youngsters in after they produced fake ID.

North Somerset District Council had an application from police for the club's licence to be suspended.

"We have acted swiftly to prevent any further child protection issues occurring," councillor Felicity Baker added. (ANI)
