Eight killed in Karachi violence

Islamabad -  Unidentified men killed eight people in different parts of Pakistan's port city of Karachi on the New Year eve, Geo News reported.

The gunmen killed three people in Orangi Town, Korangi and Punjab Chowrangi respectively, said sources Monday.

Earlier, killing of a political activist in the city's Bizerta Lines area late Sunday night sparked violence in the locality.

Moreover, unidentified men opened fire on a rickshaw in New Karachi town that killed a man and three women inside it.
