Seemingly unfazed at being ousted from the Asian Athletics Association, scam-tainted Suresh Kalmadi on Monday said losing the presidential re-election bid to Qatars Dahlan Jumaan Al-Hamad has actually given him a chance to work at the grassroots level.
I have no issues today and I congratulate Mr Al-Hamad for being elected as President. I am rather relieved that I will be able to work at the grassroots level in athletics, Mr. Kalmadi said after losing the vote during the ongoing AAA Congress in Pune.

Anonymous attacks US Sentencing Commission’s website to avenge death of Reddit co-founder

Washington - ‘Hacktivist’ group Anonymous has said it attacked the website of the US Sentencing Commission to avenge the death of Aaron Swartz, an Internet activist who committed suicide.

The website of the commission, an independent agency of the judicial branch, was taken over early Saturday and replaced with a message warning that when Swartz killed himself two weeks ago ‘a line was crossed’.

The hackers say they’ve infiltrated several government computer systems and copied secret information that they now threaten to make public, Fox News reports.

Family and friends of Swartz, who helped create Reddit and RSS, said that he killed himself after he was hounded by federal prosecutors.

Officials said that he helped post millions of court documents for free online and that he illegally downloaded millions of academic articles from an online clearinghouse, the report said.

The Justice Department had no immediate comment Saturday, the report added.
