Michelle Obama to headline childhood-obesity summit

Washington - First lady Michelle Obama is going to be the keynote speaker at a childhood-obesity summit next month at George Washington University.

Obama is the honorary chair of The Partnership for a Healthier America, which is putting on the summit from March 6 â€“ 8, Politico reported.

â€œThis two-day conference will bring together philanthropic, government, academia and private sector leaders to discuss real solutions to ending Americaâ€™s childhood obesity crisis,â€ the partnership said in a statement.
