By Manish Chand Washington, (IANS) India and France Tuesday discussed a wide range of issues, including the progress in their civilian nuclear cooperation, when Prime Minister Manmohan Singh held talks with French President Nicolas Sarkozy on the sidelines of the Nuclear Security Summit here.
The two leaders reviewed an entire spectrum of bilateral, regional and international issues, including the progress in their civil nuclear cooperation following the bilateral accord in September 2008.
They also discussed issues relating to their defence cooperation.
France was the first country to sign a bilateral civil nuclear deal in September 2008, giving it the first mover advantage in India's burgeoning civil nuclear pie estimated to be worth over $100 billion.
