Seemingly unfazed at being ousted from the Asian Athletics Association, scam-tainted Suresh Kalmadi on Monday said losing the presidential re-election bid to Qatars Dahlan Jumaan Al-Hamad has actually given him a chance to work at the grassroots level.
I have no issues today and I congratulate Mr Al-Hamad for being elected as President. I am rather relieved that I will be able to work at the grassroots level in athletics, Mr. Kalmadi said after losing the vote during the ongoing AAA Congress in Pune.

Juliana Farrait Arrested By DEA in Puerto RicoPuerto Rico (Indiavision News) - The DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) has arrested Juliana Farrait-Rodriguez, the former Mrs. Frank Lucas in an undercover police operation at a Puerto Rican hotel. The wife of 70s drug dealer Frank Lucas (who inspired the movie “American Gangster”) and aunt of rapper TNT  was caught in a money transaction involving cocaine.

If found guilty, Farrait could face from 5-to 40 years and will have to pay a $2 million fine. Julianna, 70, appeared today in court and remained silent through the process, only requesting judge Marcos Lopez Esposada to speak in Spanish during the trial.

Farrait has been charged with conspiracy to violate narcotics law, and hasn’t been assigned an attorney to defend her throughout the process. During the case of her husband, Frank Lucas, he had to serve a sentence from 1975 to 1991, while Farrait had to serve 5 years in prison.

Juliana Farrait, was arrested Thursday by Drug Enforcement Administration agents while allegedly trying to move two kilos of cocaine in Isla Verde Carolina, Puerto Rico.”Like in the movie the “American Gangster” Frank Lucas was known to have made millions of dollars peddling heroin throughout the streets of New York City.
