Nine dead in New Zealand plane crash

Wellington (DPA)- Nine people died when a light aircraft crashed Saturday at Fox Glacier on New Zealand's South Island, according to news reports quoting paramedics at the scene.

Unconfirmed reports said a plane belonging to a sky-diving company crashed and burst into flames after taking off at the alpine tourist resort's airport.
