London -  A range of products inspired by the erotic novel ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ is going to hit stores soon, as author E.L James is teaming up with three American clothing  brands for an official range of merchandise.

US store Briefly Stated will sell loungewear and undies, HYP will stock tights, stockings and garters, while Freeze Clothing will sell T-shirts and hoodies, the Sun reported.

James is keen to captitalise on the success of racy novel - the UK’s all-time bestseller having shifted 5.3million copies since its release. The trilogy of books has sold 12million copies. The stock will be available later this year.

British stores are already reporting shifting more fetish fashion, whips and handcuffs thanks to the “Fifty Shades” effect.

Ann Summers’ overall sales are up 78 percent and even at M and S sexy lingerie is flying off the shelves.
