North Korea's military on Tuesday threatened the South with imminent "sledge-hammer" retaliation unless Seoul apologised for anti-Pyongyang protestors burning effigies of its revered leaders.South Korea called the North's ultimatum "regrettable" and vowed a tough response to any military provocation.
London - Superman and Wonder Woman are set to get together as a "power couple", publisher DC Comics has revealed.
The pair of superheroes is seen kissing on the cover of the latest issue of DC Comics' Justice League.
There have been some romantic entanglements between the two in the past, but writer Geoff Johns told Entertainment Weekly the relationship would not be just be a one-issue fling.
"This is the new status quo," the BBC quoted him as saying.
Artist Jim Lee added: "Hopefully this will raise a lot of eyebrows."
The latest issue of Justice League goes on sale on 29 August.
