We get angry 336 times a yearLondon - The average adult sees “the red mist” 28 times a month – or 336 times in a year, a new poll has revealed.

And six in 10 are regularly annoyed by trivial matters without knowing the reason.

Lack of sleep, being lied to, financial worries and relationship problems are the biggest contributors to feelings of anger.

Researchers studied 2,000 people to discover how tempers impact on our lives.

And a worrying one in four confessed they sometimes reach a level of anger where they risk “losing control”.

The research, which was commissioned by Benenden Healthcare, where spokesman Lawrence Christensen, also found that it takes the average Brit half an hour or less to calm down after getting themselves worked up.

He added: “Britons are letting their angry side get the better of them – 28 times a month seems a staggering frequency, almost once a day.”
