New Delhi - It was a sunny and pleasant morning in the capital Friday as the minimum temperature settled at 9.8 degrees, making it the second warmest Feb 3 in the last five years.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said the warmest Feb 3 was in 2007 when the minimum temperature was recorded at 10 degrees. At 5 degrees, 2008 was the coldest in the past five years.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. Friday morning was 75 percent.
According to the IMD, it will be partly cloudy during the day and there is a possibility of thundershowers in some part of the city towards evening.
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 24 degrees Celsius.
Thursdays’ minimum temperature was recorded at 8.4 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year while the maximum was one notch above average at 22.8 degrees.
