New Delhi - It was a sunny morning in the capital Monday with a slight chill in the air. While the minimum temperature settled two notches below average at 10.3 degrees Celsius, met department forecast a misty evening.

“Sky will remain clear through the day. Evening is likely to be misty,” said an official from India Meteorological Department (IMD).

“Maximum and minimum temperature will stay around 25 and 11 degrees Celsius,” added the official.

The maximum temperature recorded Sunday was 23.8 degrees Celsius, a notch below the average for the season.

Humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 56 percent.
