New Delhi - It was a sunny morning in the capital Monday with a slight chill in the air. While the minimum temperature settled two notches below average at 10.3 degrees Celsius, met department forecast a misty evening.

â€œSky will remain clear through the day. Evening is likely to be misty,â€ said an official from India Meteorological Department (IMD).

â€œMaximum and minimum temperature will stay around 25 and 11 degrees Celsius,â€ added the official.

The maximum temperature recorded Sunday was 23.8 degrees Celsius, a notch below the average for the season.

Humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 56 percent.
