In a huge sigh of relief for Indian boxer Vijender Singh, National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) announced on Tuesday that the boxer has tested negative in the drug test.
Ranchi - A senior police officer in Jharkhand capital Ranchi has said city police has seized an amount of over Rs.2 crore from a car on the outskirts of the city and is probing the possibility of the amount being linked to elections for two Rajya Sabha seats from Jharkhand.
"The car carrying over Rs.two crore was seized near Namkum. The owner of the car is said to be from a sponge iron factory in Jamshedpur," local media reports quoted Senior Superintendent of Police (Ranchi) Saket Kumar Singh, as saying.
Police and income tax sleuths stopped the car during a joint raid in the area.
The Rajya Sabha polls for Jharkhand are scheduled to be held today.
