Seemingly unfazed at being ousted from the Asian Athletics Association, scam-tainted Suresh Kalmadi on Monday said losing the presidential re-election bid to Qatar’s Dahlan Jumaan Al-Hamad has actually given him a chance to work at the “grassroots” level.
“I have no issues today and I congratulate Mr Al-Hamad for being elected as President. I am rather relieved that I will be able to work at the grassroots level in athletics,” Mr. Kalmadi said after losing the vote during the ongoing AAA Congress in Pune.

Some of the prominent road rage incidents in recent times in the capital were  In a shocking incident, Rajesh Kumar, a 40-year-old autorickshaw driver, was brutally beaten to death with bricks by two drunken youths for nicking their Innova car in west Delhi's Vijay Vihar area.

Dec 23, 2011: A father-son duo beat a printing press employee to death in west Delhi's Mongolpuri area after his scooter hit their motorcycle accidentally and he refused to pay for the damage.

Nov 30, 2011: Journalist Arun Kumar Pandey was arrested from south Delhi's Vasant Kunj area for shooting at Jagbir Singh, 60, in a fit of rage after Singh brushed Pandey's Esteem car.

Nov 26, 2011: Pedestrian Moin Ahmed, 32, a resident of east Delhi, was stabbed by the passengers of an overspeeding car when he shouted at them.

Nov 7, 2011: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) councillor from Vikaspuri and his brother, Vikas Tyagi, got thrashed by four youths after the duo's Honda City car scraped past their Tata Ace tempo.
